Our guide (Rachella) spoke very good English and had all kind of interesting things to mention about living in those ages. The guided tour was with earphones so she was always understandable. Visiting pompeii without a guided tour is not a good idea. There’s so much to see that you have no idea where to start. After the 2 hours tour you can visit pompeii by yourself.
