We have put together in this guide our recommendations of the best places to visit for lovers of photography, and those who visit the Amalfi Coast even just for a day, this itinerary will take you to see the most beautiful and picture perfect sites on the island up close, to get your dream insta-worthy images for your social media. Before making your way through out list of most instagrammable places on the Amalfi Coast, we recommend these style tips:

For the Lady – A white or striped linen dress, typical of Positano fashion, with a coloured accessory and a pair of glamorous sunglasses, 60’s style.

For the Man – A pastel coloured linen shirt, light trousers and a pair of vintage sunglasses.

Positano

Franco’s Bar

Simply a must when visiting the Amalfi Coast, Franco’s Bar is located beside the prestigious Hotel delle Sirenuse entrance. This bar is situated on one of the most picturesque terraces overlooking the Spiaggia Grande and the majolica dome of the Church of the Assunta. You can get some really amazing pictures here while enjoying one of the delicious drinks from the bar, a perfect place to enjoy with friends and loved ones.

Belvedere Garitta

The first stunning viewpoint of Positano is not very easy to recognise or locate but absolutely worth stopping to see. Just before entering Positano, on the main road coming from Sorrento, you will find a few fruit and vegetable stands on the side of the road and a little further down there is a statue of the Madonna and some stone steps leading you to the Belvedere. Get your camera ready, welcome to Positano!

Spiaggia Grande

The beating heart of Positano, the Spiaggia Grande is certainly the most representative icon of the Amalfi Coast. With its striped umbrellas, coloured houses and the dome of the Church in the background that completes the scene we can proudly say the Spiaggia Grande is not like any other beach you have visited before. We advise you to walk towards the extreme point of the cliff where you can fully admire the coast from its widest angle and we can promise you will remain in awe at the sight that lays before you. You can’t miss this photo moment.

Arienzo Beach

Orange striped umbrellas, light coloured pebbles, the breathtaking landscapes and turquoise waters. Yes, this is that exact beach you’ve seen all over social media. Arienzo beach is one of the most popular destinations on the Amalfi Coast, remember to book your sun-bed in advance to enjoy your day at the beach, but not before taking the classic photo to share with your followers.

Treville Beach Club

Treville Beach club is one of those very exclusive beach clubs enclosed between the coves of the Amalfi Coast. Unique in its position as well as the decor, it paints the scenes of sanctuary in the middle of paradise. The light coloured furniture and the white umbrellas compliment and enhance the blue of the sea, an idyllic place and simply unmissable.

Path of the Gods

Do you want to live a really unique and instagrammable experience? Path of the Gods is perfect for those who love breathtaking landscapes and who love to keep themselves active, it’s a great experience that’s takes you into what feels like another dimension. You will really appreciate being here and seeing the gifts of the Creator suspended by the earth and the clouds making you feel like being in Heaven while walking through the skies of the Amalfi Coast and the hills that descend the sea, green and blue merging together into a single shade that offers unique scenes that have to be captured and shared. Enjoy!

Praiano

Voce è Notte Grill & Sunset Bar

I am very partial to Praiano and in particular this rooftop with a cocktail bar, Voce ‘e Notte grill and sunset is certainly one of the most beautiful and Instagrammable places we know on the Amalfi Coast. Mediterranean furniture, comfortable pillows and armchairs, cactus overlooking the bay and sea, sea everywhere. We recommend you getting there a few minutes before sunset and take a seat at the front tables. Even if you’re there with a loved one, this breathtaking view will steal all of your attention for the evening. Absolutely unmissable!

Kasai Restaurant

One of the most photographic dining experiences you can imagine. With its superlative cuisine, alongside eating the most high quality dishes you can experience this all in the fabulous atmosphere. The interior is a triumph of local details and decor, Mediterranean lines and colours. Located in a very original area, everything is possible to dine under a ‘pergola’ overlooking the Gulf of Amalfi as well as inside, it will attract the curious eye of those with a love of photography.

Marina di Praia

After passing a few curves of the coastal drive after Praiano village, you will soon come across Marina di Praia, one of the few easily accessible and fjords, were you can enjoy a seafood spaghetti by the ocean as well as being bale to stroll along the path traced in the tufo coastline. The colourful fishing boats pulled onto the beach make for the picture perfect postcard image.

Piazza di San Gennaro

Along with its Parish, Piazza di San Gennaro is the heart of the Praianese life. From its terrace overlooking Positano you can see the Faraglioni Rocks of Capri and it is one of the most photographed places on the Amalfi Coast. For interior lovers, we advise you not to miss visiting the Parish of San Gennaro and its alley: the majolica, the floor and the Praiano ceramics are unique in their kind.

Amalfi

The Cathedral

In addition to being the most admired attraction in the village of Amalfi, the Cathedral of Sant’Andrea is its symbol. With its dominant facade and its beautiful staircase, it represents one of the most majestic icons of the Amalfi Coast.

Andrea Pansa Patisserie

Just by the steps of the Cathedral, there is the old traditional Andrea Pansa’s pastry shop in Amalfi: an unmissable stop for food lovers. It will to be easy to resist tasting some of the pastries before taking a picture, but I definitely recommend you wait a few seconds to admire the beauty and presentation.

Atrani

With its tiny square and the clock on the bell tower, the narrow alleys, the stairs and the arches, Atrani certainly wins a place of honour among the most Instagrammable places on the Amalfi Coast. Visiting Atrani will make you feel as if you’ve taken a step back in time, a true authentic Italian experience, a great place for photography and urban detail lovers

The Fjord of Furore

A must see is Furore’s Fjord, one of the most spectacular places on the Amalfi Coast and the reason why it has become the icon of it. Unfortunately access on foot is forbidden for security reasons, but you can access it by sea or using a drone and you will definitely be able to take the most unique photographs. It is also where the Red Bull Cliff Diving challenge takes places which attracts thousands and thousand of spectators.

Ravello
